Times of Services at St Andrew's Ombersley

The First and Third Sunday in the Month
A Common Worship Holy Communion service is held at 9:30 a.m. A crèche is available at the back of the church: children are welcome to join their families for a blessing at the altar.

The Second Sunday in the Month
A ‘Short Service’, family-friendly and often ‘themed’, is held at 9:30 a.m. This lay-led service does not include Holy Communion and is particularly suitable for children to attend. There is coffee afterwards.

The Fourth Sunday in the Month
A spoken BCP Communion Service is held at 8:00 a.m. with a service of Morning Prayer at 9:30 a.m. Normally we have a visiting preacher for this service which is lay-led. There is coffee afterwards.

The Fifth Sunday in the Month
On months which include a fifth Sunday there is usually a 10:00 a.m. joint morning service with the other churches in the area. The venue for this service is currently Elmley Lovett. Occasionally there will be a Choral Evensong at Ombersley at 6:00 p.m. taking the form of a Healing service.
